It seems the unofficial dress code for Netflix’s Running Point LA premiere was “golden girls,” as Mindy Kaling followed Kate Hudson’s lead by stepping onto the red carpet in a dazzling gold gown.
The actress was positively glowing in this Rahul Mishra Spring 2025 Couture dress, which delivered drama in spades. From the intricate beading to the leafy metal appliqués cascading along the hemline, this gown wasn’t just a dress—it was a full-on golden moment. And while some metallic gowns can get lost in the glare of camera flashes, Mindy’s look held its own, making an undeniable impact.
Then there’s her beauty game. Mindy’s glossy hair was styled in soft waves. Her makeup was equally on point, with warm brown tones accentuating her eyes and a luscious chocolate lip that perfectly complemented her skin tone and the gilded hues of her gown.
Gold is a bold choice, and it’s easy to go overboard with it, but Mindy kept things elegant and balanced. The result? A glowing red carpet moment.
