Selena Gomez might have a new love interest. Or maybe she simply went bowling with a friend. Just a few days after he and his bandmate Alex Pall dropped that they’ve participated in threesomes together, Andrew “Drew” Taggart of The Chainsmokers was spotted bowling in New York City with Selena Gomez.
The Only Murders in the Building actor—who will star alongside Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep in the upcoming third season—was with Taggart as part of “a group,” per a source who spoke to People, our most reliable source for this type of gossip. In photos from the Sunday, January 15 outing at NYC bowling alley The Gutter, Gomez is in the background holding an orange bowling ball behind Taggart. After the photos came out, rumors spread that the two were an item. See the photos over at Page Six, which reports that, according to an eye witness, the two were “making out.”
Earlier this week, a source spoke to US Weekly about the maybe couple. “They aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs,” an anon source told the outlet, adding that Gomez, 30 and Taggart, 33 are, for now, “very casual and low-key.”
The source also said that they “go bowling and to the movies.” Taggart has been romantically linked to several women over the years including Eve Jobs, 24, daughter of Steve Jobs, and model/DJ Chantel Jeffries.
Selena Gomez, on the other hand, who used to have a high-profile on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber, has been single for a while. While hosting Saturday Night Live in May 2022, she said during her monologue: “One reason I’ve been very happy to host is because I’m single. And I’ve heard SNL is a great place to find romance,” a nod to Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s short but prolific relationship.
