Even though Isabelle Huppert has been serving up the same silhouette on the red carpet, I always look forward to her red carpet looks for Cannes Film Festival.
The French actress was spotted on the red carpet for the ‘Horizon: An American Saga’ wearing what can only be described as a fancy Balenciaga bathrobe.
No longer relegated to indoors-only post-shower attire, robes are joining pyjamas and silky nightdress-referencing slips in moving out of the bedroom and onto the red carpet.
The only thing that saves this from looking like a regular bathrobe, is the off-the-shoulder neckline.
I guess this was a classic case of “be careful what you wish for?”
It looks like Doja Cat started the Bathrobe Haute Couture trend.
