Kris Jenner wants everyone to know how much she loves Scott Disick.

On August 27, the famed momager denied rumors that Kourtney Kardashian’s ex was essentially “excommunicated” from the Kardashian-Jenner family after her daughter married Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Scott and Kourtney split in 2015 after nine years of dating and share three children: 12-year-old Mason Dash, 10-year-old Penelope Scotland, and seven-year-old Reign Aston.

The pair maintained a close friendship up until Kourtney began publicizing her relationship with Barker in February 2021. “It was a huge adjustment losing Kourtney romantically, but now it’s becoming a huge adjustment losing her as a best friend,” Scott said during an episode of The Kardashians, which premiered in April. “Now we’re really just more co-parents. I’d say it’s probably one of the more difficult things in my life.”

At the time, Scott also told Khloé Kardashian that he was “feeling left out” of family plans and it seems not much has changed in recent months according to recent reports. “Ever since Kourtney got married, he doesn’t spend as much time with that whole group,” a source recently told Page Six. “He’s been kind of excommunicated because the priority is Travis.”

However, this couldn’t be further from the truth, according to Kris Jenner. “Scott will NEVER be excommunicated from our family,” Kris commented on a Paper Magazine Instagram post about the report. “He’s the father of my grandchildren and a special part of our family… we love him and not true! 🥰😍”

While Scott may always be a part of the Kardashian-Jenner family, the reality star is reportedly dating someone new. According to Us Weekly, the 39-year-old reality star is currently pursuing a relationship with Kimberly Stewart, the 43-year-old daughter of legendary British rocker Rod Stewart. Though this may come as a surprise to fans who are used to seeing Scott date 19-year-olds, the pair have reportedly been seeing each other for a few months and are “really into each other.”
