Sharon Stone has been devoted to all things Dolce & Gabbana for quite some time.

I was surprised that she wore Tony Ward Couture at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, but expected her to go back to Dolce & Gabbana after the event, but that hasn’t been the case.

Sharon attended the Women’s Cancer Research Fund’s An Unforgettable Evening Benefit Gala on Thursday (March 16) and the Honor: In Their Words – Stories Commemorating The 50th Anniversary Of The End Of The Vietnam War on Saturday (March 18) in Los Angeles, California, wearing two looks from Yousef Akbar.

When it comes to a Yousef Akbar creation, you can always expect exemplary drapery and contemporary gold-tone chain detailing. With this dress, both are present.

Her beautiful olive-green Yousef Akbar Spring 2023 draped dress featuring a diamanté built-in gloved layer brought plenty of sparkle and glamour to this red carpet.

Could the built-in glove trend surpass the opera glove trend?

It saves the stylist having to find gloves that match an outfit, so I guess time will tell.

Considering the gold accent on the hip, the gold Bottega Veneta jewels and clutch were the perfect partners for this look.

Red Suit

At a quick glance you may have thought that the trousers on Sharon’s second look from Yousef Akbar were super long. Yet thankfully that is just the train that drapes beautifully from one side of her trousers giving this bold coloured suit its third statement point of reference following the lock and the colour.

The look book shows that the fourth point of references was the open-back accented with a chain detail.

Thankfully the fifth point wasn’t the pink gloves.

I have to say I’m really enjoying this exploration phase of Sharon Stone’s style.

Long may it continue.
