The 9 Best Clothing Brands for Curvy Women
1. Good American
If there’s one name in pop culture that’s synonymous with curvy bodies, it’s Kardashian—and this clothing brand was co-founded by Khloé Kardashian. Good American only distributes to stores that carry their full range of sizes—00-32—all in one department (meaning friends who are sizes 2 and 22 can shop together).
When it was founded in 2016, the brand only sold denim. At the time, Kardashian told Elle, “If you’re a curvy girl you’re going to go into your size and feel brilliant.”
Now, Good American has “a spate of foolproof wardrobe basics that pair perfectly with jeans,” shares Elizabeth Kosich, certified image stylist and founder of Elizabeth Kosich Styling. This includes tees, dresses, bodysuits, jumpsuits, swimwear, and more.
Jeans start at $99 and bodysuits at $60.
2. Boden
“The key to flattering curvy body types is finding quality constructed silhouettes and fabrics that drape well,” explains Daisy Barnett, personal stylist and founder of The Daisy Edit. “Boden carries a wide range of dresses which are a great silhouette for curvy women. Many of their dresses are knit fabric, which drapes well over curves, and their silhouettes tend to nip at the waist, which is key for hourglass shapes.”
Their pieces are moderately affordable (dresses average between $80 and $180), but Barnett notes that they often have sales.
3. SmartGlamour
SmartGlamour may not be the most recognizable brand on this list, but they are the only one that offers customizable clothing.
Holly Chayes, a personal style coach and consultant, is a fan of the brand sbea their pieces are “made to order… so your clothes can fit every curve.” They’re also available in sizes XXS to 15X.
The company was founded in 2014 by Mallorie Dunn, a NYC-based fashion designer and professor, “after many discussions about body image issues and the lack of accurate representation of women, femmes, and non binary folks in the media,” she states on her website.
The custom designs vary in price, but readily available are simple wrap dresses for $75 (available in 25 colors!), tees for $30, and palazzo pants for $60.

4. ASOS Curve & Plus
ASOS is a British e-commerce retailer that’s been around for over 20 years. The company sells upwards of 800 brands, including roughly 17 of its own brands, which include ASOS Curve & Plus. (They also have special fit ranges for tall, petite, and maternity.)
Kosich likes their maxi dresses, statement moto jackets, and boyfriend blazers. “ASOS does a great job at being on-trend across the board—silhouette, color palette, prints, and patterns—but at fast fashion prices.”
To that end, mini dresses start around $35 and tees at just $17.
5. Show Me Your Mumu
Based in Venice, California, Show Me Your Mumu has the feminine, flowy look down pat with their printed maxi dresses, crocheted coverups, and oversized sweaters. These styles are not only flattering on curvy shapes, but many of them come in plus size.
However, it’s their wedding line that really stands out, says Tracy Cheng, personal stylist and founder of the fashion and beauty blog Girl Shares Tips. “If you are looking for stylish dresses for curvy brides or bridesmaids, Show Me Your Mumu is a fantastic place,” she says, adding that they also have pieces specifically for bachelorette parties and honeymoons.
Their bridesmaid dresses come in coordinated fabrics and colors for mixing and matching, so all your girls can feel their best. Most of these dresses are priced around $188 and also come in plus size.
6. Measure & Made
If your beautiful hourglass figure makes it hard to find pants that fit properly, you may want to turn to Measure & Made. Their ShapeLogic technology is “a unique sizing system that takes into consideration not only a woman’s size but also her unique body shape,” says Loly Hlade, Measure & Made’s chief marketing officer.
The technology was born out of research that showed women tend to have one of three body shapes—straight, hourglass, and curvy. So, if you’re shopping on the site, you simply take a quick quiz to find which styles will fit you best.
According to Hlade, their pants, jeans, and shorts are all available in 100+ size and shape combinations that range in size from 0-28. They retail for between $80 and $120.

Cheng is particularly fond of the $89 Lace Maxi Dress, which, like many of the brand’s dresses, features an elastic waistband and is designed to also be “bump and nursing friendly.”
8. SKIMS
This underwear and shapewear brand is the brainchild of another member of the Kardashian family, and it’s built on the premise of celebrating and highlighting your curves.
“Founder Kim Kardashian knows a thing or two about curvy shapes and has subsequently built her SKIMS empire on diversity of shape, size, and color,” shares Kosich.
The shapewear pieces come in five different support levels, from ultra-light to extra-strong, and are categorized by the body part they’re made for—tummy, butt, thighs, bust, arms, and waist. They also come in up to 11 skin tones. Prices range from $28 sculpting thongs to $72 leggings.
9. Veronica Beard
If you’re in the market for investment pieces (blazers may go for around $400, for example), Zoé DuFour, stylist, designer, and founder of Zoé DuFour Design, recommends Veronica Beard.
“Her skirts and dresses are sexy and usually have shirring, which is so flattering to every shape,” says DuFour. She also notes that this is a brand perfect for taller, curvier women as “their sizing is generously long.”
