Renate Reinsve was promoting her new film, ‘A Different Man’ during the 2024 Berlin Film Festival today.

At first, I wanted to say that Berlin has always been a winter festival, so Renate’s custom Louis Vuitton white leather cropped bustier, and maxi skirt doesn’t feel season appropriate.
But I’m thoroughly mesmerized by the skirt.
I couldn’t quite understand the skirt until I zoomed in to see that the translucent discs have been dipped in silver to create a fish-scale like layers.
I think the bottom half of the skirt is throwing off the effect – maybe it’s a bit too long – but it’s a beautiful concept nonetheless.
Louis Vuitton silver sandals plus a white gold and diamond Idylle Blossom ring and LV Volt bracelet from the Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry collection completed her look.

I like this Coperni mixed media leather jacket, but everything feels a size too big here.
The look was much sleeker on the runway.
