Selena Gomez joined her co-star Zoe Saldana for the Cannes Film Festival premiere of their new film ‘Emilia Perez’ on Saturday evening.
I think we all said the same thing when we saw the actress in this Saint Laurent column gown…. finally.
We have had a few false starts from Selena on the red carpet this year, but Cannes tends to bring out the best in celebrities – see Greta Gerwig – so I’m glad that is applicable in this case.
The look is giving an ode to old Hollywood and while crafted in velvet, which isn’t your usual summer festival fabric, but it has been trending this season.
In this case it lends a richness and dimension to the look along with the contrasting off-the-shoulder neckline.
Bulgari jewels and Santoni sandals completed her look.
