If you’d told me that I would be struggling to narrow down a single favourite from Greta Gerwig’s twelve days at the Cannes Film Festival, I would not have believed you.
But here I am…struggling, because between the Maison Margiela Haute Couture, Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture, Armani Privé, Chanel Haute Couture, and the Celine gown I was left in awe.
But if I’m honest with myself, the modernity of the Chanel gown along with the styling was my favourite.
Who knew that our style star was going to be Greta Gerwig? The odds were probably on Eva Green, but I love how Greta exceeded our expectations.
Like some of you have stated in the comments, let’s hope that Greta takes even 50% of this energy into her upcoming red carpet events.
We’re not expecting gala gowns for every event, just the great sense of style she has shown us during Cannes.
