Hoyeon Wore Louis Vuitton To The ‘Disclaimer – Chapter 5-7’ Venice Film Festival Premiere

Hoyeon joined Cate Blanchett for the early evening premiere of their series, ‘Disclaimer – Chapter 5-7,’ during Venice Film Festival on Friday where she wore a black velvet gown from Louis Vuitton for her second look at the festival.

While I am usually a fan of her fashion statements, I have to admit that this particular look left me wanting more. The gown itself, with its rich velvet fabric, had the potential to be a standout. However, the tulle neckline ultimately undermined the overall effect.

The tulle detail didn’t elevate the sleek and sophisticated aesthetic of the gown. I couldn’t help but feel that there was a better way to execute this design idea.

This look is especially disappointing when compared to her first outing at the festival, which was a clear highlight for me. Her previous choice was not only a perfect blend of elegance and modernity but also a testament to her style prowess. They say “comparison is the thief of joy,” but unfortunately, this second appearance didn’t quite live up to the high standard she had set earlier in the event.

Hoyeon completed her look with black patent LV pumps, a Galaxie bracelet from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry collection, and Ever Blossom studs from the Louis Vuitton Fine Jewelry line. While these accessories were undeniably beautiful and in keeping with the high-fashion vibe she is known for, they weren’t enough to elevate the dress for me.
