Daisy Ridley attended Disney’s screening of her new film, ‘Young Woman and The Sea’ at iPic Theater in New York City last Monday.
Capes seem to be trending on the red carpet, with both Daisy and Viola Davis embracing the style in their unique ways.
While Viola’s cape had a futuristic edge, Daisy’s white knit Loro Piana Nikko cape and skirt exuded whimsical charm.
It’s at this point where I should say that the shoes don’t work, but her black Roger Vivier buckle sandals blend into the red carpet.
This look is a significant departure from what she might have worn a year ago, indicating that her style is evolving.
I have a feeling that this new chapter in her fashion journey promises more interesting twists and turns ahead.
